As part of an ongoing collaboration between Aspire Academy and La Liga, Prof. Valter Di Salvo, Director of Football Performance and Science at Aspire Academy, delivered a masterclass to students undertaking La Liga’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) course.
During their second visit of 2023, Prof Di Salvo talked to the visitors about "High Performance Development Strategy" having already offered his views on “Developing a High-Performance Football Ecosystem” in January. As part of their visits, they were also shown the academy’s outstanding facilities.
The visit also highlighted the work of the Aspire Academy as it brings together world-class facilities as well as global sporting and academic expertise, to provide young talented Qatari sportsmen the platform to excel and become the champions of the future.
The delegation was also able to see first-hand some of the Aspire Academy facilities that not only helped secure the right to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup but also played a key role in the successful tournament.
Trips, like the one to Qatar, are a key element of La Liga’s MBA course to ensure the students get an international perspective for their studies as they learn from some of the most important companies in the sports and entertainment industry.
