Aspire Academy Parents-teachers meeting evokes positive response

Aspire Academy recently held a parents’ meeting for all grades for the 2021-2022 second term of academic year.

The meeting was an opportunity for the Academy to meet the parents of student-athletes after two years due to Covid19 pandemic lockdown and reflect on their performances in education and sports activities.

Such meetings play a vital role in strengthening the communication channels between the parents and Academy.

“It’s very important to have such effective meetings between the parents and teachers. We share the academic progress and growth based on classroom observations, testing data, assessments, portfolios, and assignments to the attending parents,” said School Principal Jassem Al-Jaber.

“From the Aspire Academy’s point of view, the parent-teacher meetings are considered to be very important in the career growth of the students. Such meetings can help promote positive outcomes for everyone including the Academy, parent and the student-athlete.”

The parents also had the opportunity to meet with the heads of the programs, such as leadership, student social affairs, amongst others, to get a comprehensive evaluation that contributes positively to the students’ development at the Academy.

“Parents’ meetings are of great importance for parents to understand the philosophy of Aspire Academy and how the students are taken care of. On a personal level, I can say that my brother has shown amazing improvement in athletics due to the excellent trainings at the Academy,” said Mohammed Saleh Idris, former Aspire Academy athletics graduate from the first batch.
