AFC COACHING LICENCE COURSES CONTINUE AT ASPIRE ACADEMY

25 Feb 2024

Aspire Academy’s commitment to developing football in Qatar has continued as it provided the performance module for those undertaking the Asian Football Confederation coaches’ B-Licence course.

The programme was run in collaboration with the Qatar Football Association (QFA) and featured 19 coaches.

The two-day course was hosted at Aspire Academy and featured practical and theoretical sessions.

The module is part of the B-Licence course, which is relevant for coaches who are aiming to work in youth and/or amateur football.

All the material for the performance module was prepared by Aspire Academy’s Football Performance & Science department with the lectures and practical sessions were overseen by Academy staff.

The course provides the requisite theoretical and practical knowledge across multiple disciplines which underpin the development of the physical capacity of youth and senior football players.

The Aspire staff ensure that the material is centred on a learning approach and that it calibrates each topic’s content to target the coaches' needs.

In the past, Aspire Academy has also provided the performance module for the AFC’s Pro-Licence and A-Licence courses.
