In addition to being talented sportsmen, what distinguishes ASPIRE student-athletes from other preparatory and secondary students is their commitment to leadership and putting the core values of ASPIRE into action. They are asked to care as much about their teammates, classmates and young athletes following in their footsteps. They are challenged to do their best in the classroom and on the playing fields and courts. Some are already sports champions, some have already achieved academic honors, but every ASPIRE student-athlete is working to fulfil his potential. Meet our student-athletes…

ASPIRE is a learning community – people coming together to grow and develop as students, athletes, citizens, leaders, friends and members of a diverse and ever-changing world. The life of an ASPIRE student-athlete is filled with choices and opportunities. Our Code of Conduct is a ‘compass’ for living in our community. Each day is packed with learning activities. The Student-Athlete Advisory Council is an important leadership group that keeps the ASPIRE staff informed of student-athlete needs and reviews all Code of Conduct and other policies and issues affecting student-athletes. Leadership can be exercised in the form of service and every day actions but it can also be exercised by using one’s voice. ASPIRE Student-Athlete Blogs comment on a variety of subjects of interest to student-athletes and enable them to practice their independent voices.

While 7th and 8th graders are not required to board at ASPIRE Dormitory, older students must do so, in order to eliminate daily travel time to and from the Academy and replace it with additional academic support and study time. Boarding also enables students to have more rest and time to recover from their extraordinary schedules.

Graduating from ASPIRE Academy is a noteworthy achievement that signifies each student-athlete’s commitment to achieving his potential on the playing field, in the classroom and as a leader.
