ASPIRE Senegal
ASPIRE Senegal is an elite football training center for 13- to 17-year-old student-athletes from 10 African nations (Senegal, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Ghana, Mali and Nigeria), which also provides an educational program in co-operation with local schools. ASPIRE Senegal was established in 2008-2009 with its initial class of 13-14-year olds. Each class will eventually consist of the best 20-25 players in Africa.

The student-athletes are selected from among the best African players identified through ASPIRE Football Dreams, a unique scouting and testing program which is sponsored by ASPIRE, with Nike and UNICEF as supporting sponsors, that involved the participation of 630,000 13-year-olds in 2009.

Teams from ASPIRE Senegal come to ASPIRE Academy in Doha to train and compete, providing outstanding training partners and competitors for the Academy’s older football teams. The goal of the program is to provide the finest training program from top coaches, and for each of these young athletes to represent the national teams of their respective countries. These student-athletes are also considered for scholarships to attend ASPIRE Academy in Doha.
