What does it take to become the best at sport? How do you motivate yourself every day to exercise and stay healthy?
Here are several tips that might be effective for you:
1. Qatar has the highest levels of obesity and diabetes in the world. Do you want to become part of this health statistic?
2. Look at any older person you know who is having trouble walking, putting on their own sandals, or getting dressed by themselves. Think about an older person who, if they accidental fall, you know they do not have the strength to get up without assistance. Do you want to be this person?
3. Are you having trouble geting up from the sofa? Does your wardrobe need to be updated to include more stretchy materials. Do you often find yourself without energy and not motivated to play with your children? Is going for a walk an obligation to be avoided?
4. One of the biggest reasons why people stop exercising is because they start out with too long and too difficult work-outs. Try starting with a 20 minute walk every day or 20 sit-ups. Then gradually increase as you feel stronger.
5. Do you stop exercising because your muscles become stiff and painful? Be sure to gently stretch before and after you exercise.
6. Too tired to drive to the gym or the park where you wanted to walk? Always keep a exercise mat or CD at home for those days where you are pressed for time. Design a very simply at-home work out that just takes 15 or 20 minutes
