IAAF Visits ASPIRE Ahead Of World Indoor Championships

Doha, Qatar; 14th December 2009:- Yesterday (Sunday 13th December 2009) the Coordination Committee of the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) paid a visit to ASPIRE in advance of the IAAF World Indoor Championships in March 2010. The Committee, together with the President of the Qatar Association of Athletics Federation (QAAF), Mr Abdullah Al-Zaini, undertook a comprehensive visit of ASPIRE to view the facilities and talk to the organizers. Following the visit a press conference was also held at ASPIRE at which the IAAF coordination committee praised both QAAF and ASPIRE for the preparations that had been done to date to host a world-class event such as the IAAF World Indoor Championships.
